ABOUT ME
It’s so nice to meet you.
Years ago, I worked for a large company where nearly everyday I met strangers and helped guide them through sharing their “life story” so to speak. Hundreds of people later, it confirmed my admiration and awe for what humans can withstand in life.
When I moved to a new country, I was met (and still am!) with a range of unfamiliar emotions. Home sickness, guilt, regret, feeling out of control, lost, stuck. Excited, hopeful, grateful, confident. I’ve felt and feel all those waves. Take being in a new country with no friends or family, throw in feeling totally confused about what to do for work and you’ve got a recipe for needing help. That was me! And some days, it still is. It’s a work in progress. Maybe these emotions resonate with you?
For me, Help came in the form of Mindfulness & Meditation Training, Therapy with a focus on Mindfulness Teaching and Self-Compassion Training. These practices have helped me to ground myself where I am, to notice what’s going on in my mind and in my life, non-judgementally and to accept and just be where I am, mentally and physically. It sounds pretty simple, but sometimes you need a bit of help to guide you to where you want to go.
I don’t have a singular approach or 10 steps to follow and that’s intentional. I don't believe there’s a one size fits all method for anything human. By meeting and working together, we'll discover ways of communicating, thinking about things, strategizing and being with emotions that works well for you. Perhaps you can think of my "method" as tailor-made, while always bringing compassion and non-judgement to you in every conversation. All of what you know & need is already inside of you. I’m just here to help you explore & express it.
Through my training, practices, my life experience & our shared humanity, my hope is that together, we can navigate towards calmer waters.

I have 4 older brothers and two parents who I love spending time with. I shoot film photography for fun on a Canon FTb that was once my Dad’s. I read fiction & love the escapism of it. I’m happiest when I’m outside. I love to bake & cook, especially for others. Summer is my favourite season - is there anything better than a good swim? I love a little small chat with strangers. I have a chihuahua named Louie whose tongue hangs out. I’m from Canada but I live in Barcelona. For the last 3 years I’ve lived in a bunch of different countries in Europe. My favourite place on earth is my childhood home, where my parents still live.
